Description
A refreshing Lavender Haze Cocktail that combines gin, lemon juice, and lavender syrup, topped with club soda for a fizzy finish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ounces (60 ml) gin (or vodka), spirit base
- 1 ounce (30 ml) fresh lemon juice, brightens and balances flavor
- ½ ounce (15 ml) lavender syrup, for sweetness and floral notes
- 4–6 ounces (120–180 ml) club soda, adds fizz and lightness
- Lemon slice, for garnish
- Food coloring (optional), 2-3 drops, for lavender color adjustment
Instructions
- Step 1: Fill a tall glass halfway with clear, pure ice cubes to chill the drink without quick dilution. This maintains the ideal temperature while you assemble the cocktail.

- Step 2: Pour 2 ounces (60 ml) gin, 1 ounce (30 ml) fresh lemon juice, and ½ ounce (15 ml) lavender syrup into the glass over the ice. Add food coloring now if desired, 2-3 drops, adjusting until the lavender hue is achieved. Stir gently but thoroughly to blend the floral syrup with the tart lemon juice.

- Step 3: Slowly top the mixture with 4 to 6 ounces (120 to 180 ml) of club soda. Pour carefully to control carbonation and prevent overflow. Adjust soda quantity based on preference for a lighter or stronger drink.

- Step 4: Add a slice of lemon or a sprinkle of edible flowers on top. This enhances the drink’s aroma and presentation.

Notes
- Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container away from sunlight and heat for up to 1 day.
- Refrigeration: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Stir gently before serving.
- Freezing: Freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 1 month. Thaw in the refrigerator and stir before serving.
- Use freshly squeezed lemon juice instead of bottled to maintain bright, fresh flavor.
- If the cocktail is too sweet, add ½ ounce (15 ml) more lemon juice to balance the lavender syrup.
- For stronger floral notes, stir in an extra ¼ ounce (7.5 ml) of lavender syrup.
- If your ice is slow to melt, try using crushed ice to chill the drink faster with less dilution.
- Pour soda water slowly and adjust between 4 and 6 ounces (120-180 ml) to control fizz.
- Serve with light appetizers such as cucumber bites, roasted chickpeas, arugula salad, or grilled shrimp skewers.
- Use as a spritzer, a dessert cocktail, or add a drizzle over vanilla ice cream or pancakes.
- Garnish can be topped with a sprig of fresh mint or an additional lemon slice. Adding a dash of tonic water provides extra fizz.
- The lavender haze cocktail contains no gluten, dairy, nuts, or animal products, making it gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and vegan.
- For keto or low-carb diets, use sugar-free lavender syrup alternatives.
- Use high-quality, natural lavender syrup to bring out the authentic floral aroma. Avoid artificial flavorings.
- Fresh lemon juice is preferred for bright acidity and balance.
- Opt for crisp club soda without added sugars to enhance refreshing fizz.
- Clear ice cubes are best for appearance and temperature control; freezing lavender syrup as ice cubes can add a floral twist.
- Edible flowers for garnish provide a visual appeal and enhance floral aroma.
